Black box as creative Challenge
The special exhibit “Future Building, Terminal 2010” during the Ineltec 2005 in Basel stood under the motto “films”. To effectively stage company presentations, the project management –Hans-Jörg Luchsinger and Markus Weber– decided among others to commission the production of a film titled “Mr. Noname” specifically for the special exhibit. During the fair, it was screened every half hour in HDTV quality and could –as augmented value– after the four days of the fair be additionally distributed as DVD. The resulting challenge regarding the design of the special exhibit was to put the projection room in the limelight –a room that had to be separated from the bustle of the fair regarding acoustics, climate and light. Anarchitekton commissioned a projection room with the required dimensions built with a reusable concrete enclosure system.
